There is more than one way to grow your Instagram account in this day and age – and while this is a really good thing and means that many people can get the help they need, it does have its downsides as well. Why? Because a lot of the companies that offer resources and services are not worth your time.
While they might look good on the outside, the reality is that they’re nothing more than a bot or a company selling fake engagement, with the ultimate goal to rip off clients. So, how do you avoid companies like this?

Social Boost is an Instagram growth company that claims to offer organic growth to its clients. It also claims to be the number one Instagram growth agency in the industry, which is a bold claim to make. There is always the chance that they’re just another bot.
What is Social Boost?
It appears that Social Boost has a lot going for them. When you visit their website, you’ll realize that they have a chatbox on their homepage, so that you can get in touch with them straight away if you need anything at all.
This is a good level of accountability with the client and not the kind of assistance you’ll find with them all. Again, they claim to be the number one Instagram growth agency on their homepage, and so far, we haven’t been able to see anything that backs this up.
They say that all of their potential clients need to do is fill out their form, and they will do the rest. They say that it only takes a couple of minutes to fill out the form, where presumably they will ask you a few questions about your profile, and what you want from their services.
Once you’ve done this, they take control and start to interact with your target audience. Beyond this, they start to grow your account with those people that might be interested in your content, which is supposed to increase your follower count and engagement rate at the same time.
Social Boosts Main Features
Social Boost says that one of their main features is their ability to like and follow your target audience automatically. The idea here is that they will see the attention that you’re paying their content, and they will return the favor.
What’s interesting is that they talk about automatically liking, but not so much automatically following, so they might claim to do this part manually – you never know. They also say that they can direct message new followers for you as well, but again we’re not sure if they do this manually or if this part is automated.
Social Boost says that they’re completely safe and secure, which means that they don’t go outside of Instagram’s daily limits when interacting with your target audience. While a lot of companies promise this, not many follow through, so that’s one of the risks you’d have to be willing to take.
Another feature that Social Boost offers is a dedicated account manager. However, they don’t really showcase this one, so we’re not too sure how reliable this is. It takes a lot for a company like this to offer a personal manager for every client, so this is another thing to be wary about.

Their pricing is displayed on their homepage, and it is divided into two different packages. The first package is called its ‘beginner’ package and costs $59 a month. It offers real Instagram growth, as well as commenting, liking, and direct messaging.
They say that you can cancel this one anytime. Their other package doesn’t have a name, but it’s going to cost you $149 a month. This one comes with all the features that the other package provides, along with faster results and a personal account manager.

So, what do we ultimately think about Social Boost when it comes to helping you grow your Instagram account? We think that they could probably do better, and so could you.
While they do look like a pretty good company from the outside, it doesn’t take a lot of digging to discover that they are most likely just another bot, which while can be helpful, is just going to hurt your account and even hinder it from receiving real growth.
We don’t think that they stick to Instagram’s terms and conditions, and we don’t think that they can really pull off a dedicated account manager for each and every client. At the end of the day, we think that you should look elsewhere for your Instagram growth.
