Why Tekno Miles Is a Good Icon in Music and Crypto

Tekno Miles is one of the most popular icons in the music industry and has been on a bigger pace towards a big change in his career. As one of the rising musicians in the industry, it is easy to expect that he is slowly setting a golden standard in his interests.

Miles is known for his signature Afrobeats, which is inclined towards the music of Africa. It is more of a style that fuses the sounds flowing out of both Ghana and Nigeria. Tekno’s other genres include hip hop and rock & blues.

As a rising musician, there is more to look out for in Tekno’s career. After all, the Golden Boy of Africa now stands as a huge icon that every fan would love to watch. With his ambassadorship for Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino, this makes him a huge influencer for cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin casino and Tekno Miles have been a strong connection for some time now. It is looking good for both his career and the industry as a whole. So far, cryptocurrency has been on a good note and this is why there is more to expect from him as he now looks to expand his reach.

Tekno Miles Has a Shining Career

Tekno started out with a deal under K-Money Entertainment and released a single titled ‘Holiday’. With featured vocals from Davido, it was an instant hit and even gained a massive airplay, making it one of the best debuts for a Nigerian singer.

The star was soon spotted by Julius Agwu in 2012, who was a renowned Nigerian comedian. In an event in Abuja, Agwu gave Tekno a big stage and received a standing ovation for his performance of a song titled ‘Onye Ne Kwu’, his remix of Ice Prince’s ‘Oleku’.

It was also the same event where Tekno met Iyanya and Ubi Franklin, the manager of Made Men Music Group and they became friends. Ubi and Iyanya eventually encouraged Tekno Miles to move to Lagos to further his music career.

His time with the MMMG was a huge boost to his career. Tekno earned a lot of praise and even nominations to various awards from 2013 to 2017. He soon teamed up with Universal Music Group Nigeria (UMGN), a division of Universal Music Group in charge of West Africa. He soon released a tracklist for his long-awaited debut album, Old Romance in 2020.

Tekno Has a Lot of Awards and Feats

For his widely acclaimed career, Tekno has earned a lot of awards and feats in his career. Just two years after his notable run-in with Julius Agwu, Tekno was nominated for the Best New Act of the Year in the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. A year later, Tekno was then nominated and won the Best Pop Extra Video in the 9th Nigeria Music Video Awards for his part in ‘Duro’.

The same act gave him three more nominations in 2016. Tekno was nominated for the Hottest Single, Best Music Video of the Year and the Afropop Artist of the Year. While he did not win any of those three nominations in the 2016 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, it was a huge feat for an artist like him.

He later won a big award in the same year—the Best New Act for the MTV Africa Music Awards 2016. That inspired Tekno to step up his game and released a non-album single in ‘Pana’. The song earned him four nominations in WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards. These are African Video of the Year, Best African Male Video, Best West African Video and Best Afro Pop Video.

Tekno’s most recent nomination was in the BET Awards 2017 for the Best International Act Africa. Due to the pandemic, his 2020 release didn’t get many nominations but was still seen as one of the best set of tracks he ever released.

Tekno Has Bigger Plans

Tekno has been working more on his other interests than his music career. The Afrobeats star took a huge step towards innovation when he moved to join Bitcasino and Sportsbet as their global ambassador.

Tekno will now help people across the region join the crypto revolution by fronting a series of promos for Bitcasino over the next two years.

‘Bitcasino is a fun, fast and fair place to play and I’m proud to join the team’, Tekno said. ‘Crypto is a game-changer, in West Africa and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier to work alongside the best crypto-led casino out there’.

Aside from Bitcasino, Sportsbet is also set to make a splash in West Africa with Tekno leading the way. The star is loved across the region for his flow and production on hits such as ‘Pana’ and ‘Don’t Jealous Me’. He joins other Sportsbet.io global ambassadors, including fellow rapper King Kaka.

Tekno and Sportsbet.io will also link up to offer players the chance to win out-of-this-world experiences, like attending a Premier League match in an executive box.

‘I knew Sportsbet.io was a great match because, like me, these guys are not afraid to challenge the status quo’, Tekno said. ‘They are at the forefront of the crypto revolution, and I’m really excited to be by their side as a global ambassador’.

A Brighter Future for Tekno Miles

It is easy to say that Tekno will reap benefits in his new role as the global ambassador for both Sportsbet and Bitcasino. He might even be poised to release new albums in the future, and there is no denying that he can get a huge following, especially with more potential fans from the two top sites.

His album Old Romance is just the start, and there is more to expect from Tekno Miles in the long run. This is why he is a great pick for Bitcasino and Sportsbet since a rising star like him can bring a lot of success and more of his followers into these sites as well.

Just like how King Kaka will play a huge role in the African campaign for both Sportsbet and Bitcasino, it is easy to say that Tekno Miles will also have that immediate impact as a whole. Helping spread the good news about crypto in Africa is something that will be a huge undertaking for them. There is no denying that the strong connection between Bitcoin casino and Tekno Miles will last for more years to come. That proves that the Afrobeats star can actually bring a new change with his influence in Africa and bring crypto as a new concept in the region.
