ViewerLabs Review 2024 – Is It a Scam?

ViewerLabs Review – Is It a Scam?

What is Twitch?

Before we can discuss a growth and engagement service for Twitch, you may need to know something about the Twitch platform.

If you’re already a gamer and well aware of how this site works, you may still find this information valuable and helpful in relation to engaging on said platform.

Launched in 2011, Twitch has since attracted millions of users and around 3.8 million broadcasters.

What happens on Twitch is that when you stream your gaming activities, other users that are interested in the games you play will follow your channel and engage with your videos. You can do the same when you find a streamer that interests you.

Following broadcasters streaming their gaming in real-time allows users to get notifications and updates regarding said broadcaster.

Gamers are drawn to watching players play, their reactions as they play, and some tips and tricks to help other players play games.

You can use links to games to sell them or buy them from other users as well. Some streamers are making a regular living doing just that. They stream games and sell them.

If you’re using Twitch to stream your games and to make money, you know how much time it takes to do this regularly and consistently.

So, many broadcasters are turning to outsourcing companies like ViewerLabs to achieve their desired growth.

The next few paragraphs will discuss ViewerLabs and its safety or risk, pros and cons, and the features it offers to its clients.

Let’s see how it measures up.

ViewerLabs Review 2024

As you can see by the above table, ViewerLabs doesn’t exactly measure up to our alternatives. Still, we are dedicated to delivering quality content that is informative and helpful to you. Whether this is a service you want to engage in or not, is ultimately your decision.

Let’s get this unbiased review going.

ViewerLabs is one of those companies that claim to be able to help you with your Twitch growth. While this is all well and good, we doubt that they are legit. Here’s why.

Twitch is a company that has slowly been growing in popularity over the past few years. While they might not be the most popular social network out there, they are when it comes to live streams, and if you are not making the most of having a Twitch channel, then we suggest that you get started.

There are many ways to make money from live streaming on Twitch, but the reality is that most of us don’t have the time to put into growing our audience. This is where third party companies come in. Many of them are able to help you find the best people to view your Twitch streams. It is not all sunshine and roses, though.

I’m Jonathon Spire. I love that there are now a lot of companies out there that can help with your Twitch growth that are legit, but I’m sad to say that there are also companies that are just a scam.

If you want to keep your Twitch account’s reputation intact, then you need to know which companies to avoid and which to use for your Twitch growth.

With articles like the one below, you can get a much better idea of how to tell a legit company from a scam.

Let’s review ViewerLabs and see what we think.

ViewerLabs logo

ViewerLabs is a Twitch viewer bot that claims to be able to help with all of your Twitch channel engagement features. While this is all well and good, it doesn’t sit too well with us that they claim to be a bot. A bot is going to put your account at risk of being banned.

What is ViewerLabs?

As we mentioned, ViewerLabs is one of those companies that is pretty blatant about being a bot, and we’re not sure that we like it so much.

Bots are not the best way to engage on any social media platform, much less Twitch, where you need real people viewing your streaming videos. Only real followers can be converted into happy customers. Bots are not human and are not consumers.

While it is nice that they are upfront and honest about this side of things, the issue we have is that generally speaking, we can’t condone the use of a bot for your Twitch growth, as it will only get your account in trouble with Twitch itself.

It’s much better to use organic engagement that’s going to protect your reputation.  Consider the time and effort you have put into building your reputation on Twitch before you choose a platform for engagement that could potentially ruin it for you.

What Are ViewerLabs’s Features?

ViewerLabs Dashboard

ViewerLabs claim to be the most stable Twitch viewer bot, and they say that their dashboard is super easy to use. They also claim to be the only bot that has around the clock customer support for their clients, making it super easy to get in touch with someone should you have any issues.

Again, this sounds great, just like the kind of company that you need for your Twitch views, but the reality is that a bot is going to do more harm than good. Lastly, they promise a free trial.

What is ViewerLabs’s Pricing?

ViewerLabs Pricing

ViewerLabs has many different price points, beginning at just $35 a month. This gives you 25 live viewers, as well as 200 followers for your channel. The next price up is $50, followed by $90 and then $140. Their most expensive price point is $310, which includes 500 live viewers on your live streams and 3500 followers a month.

They also say that if you pay with a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, you can get 10% off your order. These prices are pretty reasonable, but we can’t get past the fact that they are a bot.

While the pricing structure may look fair to some people, it’s awfully expensive for a bot that is likely to ruin your account.

How Did ViewerLabs Do in Tests?

We thought that ViewerLabs did okay in tests, but overall we don’t think that you should go for them. We signed up for their basic features, and while we did get engagement on our live Twitch streams, it didn’t seem to stick around for too long.

It helped for a little bit, but it wasn’t long before the viewers started going away again, which made our streams look really bad to existing viewers. This means that they can’t supply their clients with a good retention rate, which is going to affect your existing reputation negatively. It’s the kind of risk that you can’t afford to take.

ViewerLabs isn’t doing well in the user review arena either. Real user reviews on Trustpilot, a third-party review site, had it at 2.3 out of 5 stars, which isn’t even mediocre.

Over half of its reviews are negative/bad. You can see for yourself how other Twitch users see this service.  Because of these bad reviews, we cannot even consider this service to be legitimate.

The main complaint is that ViewerLabs doesn’t work.

Pros and Cons of ViewerLabs

Pros
  • 24/7 support
  • Free trial
Cons
  • Negative Trustpilot reviews
  • No convincing or genuine reviews or testimonials
  • Not a well-known service
  • Expensive packages
  • No phone support

Even though bots are known for the risk of getting accounts banned on some social media networks, this isn’t highly likely to happen on Twitch, but the risk is still there. As this social media for gamers raises its game, bots are likely to stop working.

The negative reviews regarding how it doesn’t work, the expensive plans, and the fact that few people know about it should be enough to convince you to look elsewhere for your Twitch growth.

Review Conclusion

So, what do we ultimately think of ViewerLabs for your Twitch live streams? We think that they have a lot going on and attempt to give their clients what they need, but at the end of the day, they’re nothing more than just another Twitch bot.

There are now too many out there to count, which means that you could use any of them, and they will produce the same result. What’s for sure is that you’re not going to get very far with them, and they could damage your existing reputation irreparably. We think it’s best that you find your Twitch viewers elsewhere.

Whether ViewerLabs is a scam or not is up to you to decide.  We simply don’t recommend it due to the potential risk it poses for bot usage. There was a time when bots might have been able to sneak by social media’s algorithms, but that is no longer the case.

The vast amount of poor reviews, bot use, and some interesting claims on the website all played a role in our decision to decide not to recommend it.

Just remember that the use of any type of bot to boost growth and popularity on any social media platform comes with risk.

Besides that, you aren’t even getting real viewers that you need to provide real views. What’s the point of trying to make money on Twitch if your viewers aren’t real and cannot be turned into customers?

What we do recommend is finding a less risky service to help you grow your Twitch viewership so that you can enjoy real success on the platform.

It’s vital that you do some research and learn the signs of a safe or a risky service.

  1. Viewerlabs is a Scam, they underdeliver on their product and do not fix for weeks with a form response. They then ban your account when you complain. I would avoid using this service unless you enjoy paying for services you do not receive.

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
