Somiibo Review 2024

The Latest News In Instagram World

Before we get deep into this review of Somiibo, we want to discuss some things you need to know about Instagram.

The realm of social media is ever-changing, so it should come as no surprise that the latest is bad news for bots, fake followers, and some automation services.

Bots, automation, and fake engagement services no longer work the same way on Instagram. Many users of such interactions report that it’s not working at all, and they are getting suspended and banned.

Due to user’s having these issues, they are leaving more and more negative reviews on third-party sites like Trustpilot.

Before you choose a service to help you with your Instagram growth and engagement, make sure you are not using a bot, poor automation, or fake engagement.

The best way to uncover sketchy Instagram engagement services is to read professional reviews like this one and user reviews that give you insights into how the service worked for other people like you.

Instagram Rules

Instagram also has rules to follow that help to protect Instagrammers like you. If you or anyone fails to follow them, you run the risk of getting suspended or banned from the platform.

  • Bots are not allowed
  • Automation is not allowed
  • Fake engagement is not allowed
  • Buying followers and engagement is not allowed

With all these taboos in the rules of Instagram engagement, how is a person supposed to grow and thrive on this social media giant?

Instagram’s terms of use are rules, not laws. That is why people still use some disallowed engagement options on the platform. If you don’t get caught, you’re doing something right.

If you do, you won’t get arrested or go to jail, but you could get suspended or banned. Yes. Violating Instagram’s terms may not be a legal issue, but it’s going to be a problem for you.

Your primary concern should be to protect yourself and your IG account from banning and suspension. These are issues that will adversely affect not only your account, but your online reputation.

This review of Somiibo will help you decide if it’s how you want to engage on Instagram.

Somiibo Review Overview

In a lot of ways, your online branding is only as good as your Instagram growth. While this may be a hard pill to swallow, it’s the stark reality of building a brand online and becoming a well-known presence which you can use to reach a mass audience.

If you’re thinking about outsourcing your Instagram engagement in order to reach more people and boost your credibility, then you need to know as much about them as you can.

This review about Somiibo will help you decide whether they’re a service you want to use for your Instagram growth or not.

What is Somiibo?

Somiibo doesn’t beat around the bush when talking about what they are – from the very beginning, they explain that they are a social media bot. Now, you may have heard some of the stigmas that often surround bots these days, so we recommend approaching with caution.

They appear to also come with a dashboard that you can use to completely customize your Instagram engagement experience, leaving a lot of the control in your hands.

What are Somiibo’s Main Features?

While Somiibo says that you can get started with them for free, we can’t see anywhere any indication of a free trial, so we’re not too sure what this means. Regardless, let’s take a look at Somiibo’s main features:

  • Music blog feature
  • Track feature
  • Soundcloud repost
  • Spotify playlist pitching
  • Purchasing of followers for Spotify and Soundcloud
  • Scheduling
  • Support via proxy
  • Help to manage multiple accounts

Of course, the availability of these features depends on which plan you sign up for. While we couldn’t find a free trial anywhere, they do appear to offer their basic plan for free, which is definitely an advantage that we can appreciate.

Is Somiibo Safe?

Like anything we buy into these days, there are advantages and disadvantages to doing so. This means that like any other company out there, Somiibo has its positives and negatives.

Positives

  • Secure Site: if you looked for a company who could help you with your Instagram engagement a few years ago, you would have struggled to come across one that secured their website with https. These days, however, it’s the opposite – you’ll struggle to come across one that hasn’t secured it in this way. This is definitely a positive because you’ll find them better on Google, and your information will be safe.
  • Visible Pricing: as you can see from our listings above, we have been able to access their price points, so you know exactly how much money they are going to cost you every month. This is clearly an important feature to have – you don’t have a lot to work with if you can’t see price points before you commit to anything. It also means that they probably won’t sting you in the future with hidden costs.
  • 24/7 Customer Support: in all of their services they claim to have support that can be at the end of a phone or email anytime you need it. While this support may vary in quality depending on what package you sign up for, it does appear that they have a support service as one of their features, which is definitely a positive and something we always like to see.
  • Verified Payment Gateway: with all the possible scams that are out there these days you don’t want to put yourself in a compromising position by sharing sensitive information with a website that doesn’t protect their payment gateway. We’re pleased to say that Somiibo appears to do so, which means you can comfortably type in your credit card details without there being any risk of theft.
  • Real Reviews: they do appear to have real reviews featured on their website – on a different webpage as well. It’s definitely still rare to find this, especially when you come across reviews that have a first and last name attached to it. We can’t fault them on this one and think that their reviews are real, which says a lot about their business and the quality of the services they’re selling.

Negatives

  • FAQ and Help Page: while Somiibo is pretty comprehensive when it comes to what they feature on their website in general, we can’t say that we could find a FAQ and help page that has some basic queries already answered. This is obviously a really important feature to have, even though it may not seem like it – if you can’t answer initial customer questions, then they’re going to struggle to build any confidence in the brand. The more your customers know about what you do before they sign up for anything, the more they’re going to trust you.
  • Email and Phone Form: while this feature isn’t a dealbreaker if you don’t have it, it’s certainly helpful if you’re running an ongoing service. Collecting data for your customers, and storing it safely online, is a great way to keep track of them and get in touch with them if you need to. Without this, you’re going to struggle to stay organized and please all of your clients.

Review Conclusion

Somiibo has been pretty straightforward and upfront about what it is they do and what they have on offer. While they haven’t ticked all the boxes when it comes to features on their website, they do appear to follow through on promises that they make about the quality of their services.

They also appear to have happy customers that are prepared to write good reviews. If it’s purely down to quality, we suggest Jarvee instead, but otherwise, this is a good average option if you’re not looking to spend too much on your engagement.

Update to SimplyGram: Due to the fact that bots no longer work on Instagram, we are raising the risk factor for using it for Instagram. It may still be working for now, but the clock is ticking on bots, and it’s been discovered that Simiboo is using bot tech.

We still cannot totally confirm that Somiibo is now less safe, we can verify that it has very few reviews that are half-and-half good and bad, which isn’t much of a way to measure its performance right now.

The website appears to be safe and not suspicious, but if it’s using a bot for Instagram engagement, it’s too risky for us.

We recommend that you perform your own research and check for updates on this engagement service before you decide to use it.

Protect your Instagram account and your reputation by staying updated on the various Instagram growth and engagement services available online.

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
