Again, though, as we mentioned, they are a pretty expensive company – but we think that it’s going to pay off. - Questionable Reviews – While their onsite reviews may be indeed real, I must question that since some of them look familiar and could be stock images. The reviews are mostly generic and vague in nature. They are associated with real Instagram pages, so at the end of the day it’s up to you whether you believe they’re real or not.
- No 24/7 Support – They don’t claim to offer 24/7 support, nor do they provide it. That’s too bad because people expect to have their questions and concerns addressed as they happen. That’s what makes 24/7 support such a popular feature.
- Unverified Payment Gateway – I could not confirm that their payment gateway is verified. It may not be secure, putting your payment information at risk.
I don’t believe this service to be safe, mostly based on the lack of verified payment systems, making it a moderate to high risk.
Final Thoughts
Scam Advisor categorizes this website as a new site without feedback, but it’s over 200 days old and appears to be popular on Alexa.
This report also says it may be related to a high-risk country, which is another reason I believe it’s not safe. However, it is worth noting at this point that Social Sensei has had a revamp of their website and their services, and they could be offering something that’s slightly more trustworthy.
We think that while they might still not have a secure payment gateway, they could have improved on their customer support and accountability with the customer.
At the end of the day, it’s your decision, but we find it interesting that they have changed things up – hopefully for the better.
