SalesLoft is a company that says that they are the number one sales engagement platform to help you with a better buying experience. We’re not so sure that this is an accurate claim.
When it comes to using social media platforms like LinkedIn to get your brand out there and connect with more professionals in your industry, it’s not as easy as you might think.
It used to be a lot easier back in the day when the platform was just starting out and didn’t have that many people using it. These days, however, there are millions of people using LinkedIn every day, which means that there are millions of people trying to achieve the same goals as you are.
You’ve got your work cut out for you, and you’re not quite sure how to do it all by yourself because you still have other aspects of your brand online to think of.
I’m Jonathon Spire. There’s a whole world out there of companies that claim to be able to help you with your LinkedIn connections, but the truth of the matter is that hardly any of them can do so authentically.
While there definitely are some legit companies out there, in my experience, there are more scams, and it’s more difficult than you think to tell the two apart.
This is why we write reviews like the one below so that you, as the reader, can figure out the difference between a legit company and one that is not so good for you.
Let’s review SalesLoft and decide what we think of them.
SalesLoft is a company that again claims to be the number one sales engagement platform in the industry. Of course, this is a bold claim, which is why we have to work out whether it’s true or not. For us, there is a risk that they’re a bot.
What is SalesLoft?
SalesLoft says that whether you have pipeline goals, revenue targets, or buyer expectations that you have to keep up with, they can help you.
They say that they help B2B sales teams close more deals and integrate today’s top CRM’s, which is going to turn your data into actionable steps that help turn those potential followers into paying customers.
They have a lot on their website about awards and companies that have used them, and they have a lot of positive client reviews as well that you can see on their home page.
This is all well and good, but at the end of the day, if they aren’t approved by LinkedIn, there’s not a lot that you can do with them.
What are SalesLoft’s Features?
SalesLoft says that they can help guide reps through the sales process, uncover problem areas and active deals, and drive product expansion, adoption, and renewals.
They also claim that they want to help their clients understand the impact of every sales conversation and scale and replicate behaviors of the best-performing reps for the rest of your sales team.
They also want to use advanced technology to streamline your workflow and gain better insights into every stage of the sales process.

What is SalesLoft’s Pricing?
SalesLoft Prospect says that their packages are designed with specific revenue teams in mind, and they say that you can choose the right package for your sales development team or your customer success team.
They also say that they have a solution that can cover all of your teams at the same time. However, one thing that we don’t really like here is that they have a lot to say about the features in their packages but not a lot to say about the actual pricing.
The only price point that we could see on the website was a starting price of $90.00 a seat, so we imagine that it only goes up from here. Of course, this isn’t the kind of rate that everybody can afford, and we do not like that they aren’t forthcoming about the rest of their pricing.
How Did SalesLoft Do in Tests?
We put SalesLoft to the test to see if they added up to our expectations. While we did think that they were pretty good at the start, we were disappointed with the results. They were confusing and all over the place, and we thought that at the end of the day, we paid too much for what we got.
They didn’t really give us any information that we didn’t already know about driving leads to create more revenue, which was pretty disappointing.
What About Their Team?
Another thing to look out for when it comes to companies like this is how much information they have about the team behind their features on the website. Companies that want to be authentic and genuine with their potential clients will include quite a lot of information.
We honestly couldn’t find what we thought was enough information about SalesLoft and their team on the website, which means that they are not willing to be upfront and honest with clients from the beginning.
You’ve got every reason to think that SalesLoft looks like the kind of company you would want to use for your LinkedIn growth.
They have a pretty good website, and they share all of their features with potential clients so that you don’t have to commit to anything before finding out too much about them.
However, the biggest downside for us when it comes to companies like this is that they simply haven’t been approved by LinkedIn to use, which means that there is a high chance of being suspended or banned for using them.
LinkedIn has very limited allowances for their users to make the most of the third-party companies like this, which means that the risk is too big if you have an existing reputation.
We suggest that you look elsewhere for your LinkedIn growth and make sure that they comply with LinkedIn’s terms and conditions around third party use.
