Prospect.io is a company that claims they can help you with all of your potential sales on LinkedIn. We think that they actually have other ideas.
There’s nothing quite like being able to connect with other people in the same industry as you, as well as talk to professionals who have similar interests and who can point you in the right direction when it comes to your leads.
Using LinkedIn for your brand’s growth online, in general, is a great idea, but it is getting more and more difficult to be noticed as the competition gets more fierce.
These days, it feels like everybody is on LinkedIn, which means that if you want to create content that is going to be original and stand out, you’ve got to put a lot of time and energy into it.
I’m Jonathon Spire. I realise that it takes a lot to grow a LinkedIn account these days, but I also know that there are a lot of companies out there that are prepared to help their clients with this as well.
The trouble is, there are many companies that are just trying to take advantage of you and are nothing more than a scam.
However, there are those that are genuine and truly want to help you, you’ve just got to know where to look for them.
Let’s review Prospect.io And determine whether they are the right company for you or not.
Prospect.io is a company that says they can help you increase your outbound sales team productivity so that you can start having more of the right conversations and close more of your deals.
This would be really nice if they complied with LinkedIn’s guidelines.
What is Prospect.io?
Prospect.io says that they know how boring sales prospecting can be, which is why they want to take control so that you can spend more time on the aspects of your brand that you love.
They promise that with their features, you will actually enjoy this task, and something that makes them pretty unique when it comes to these types of features is that they can help you on other social media channels as well. This means that you can grow your Facebook and Instagram as well as your LinkedIn.
Again, our issue with them is that they aren’t complying with LinkedIns terms and conditions, which means that they probably aren’t complying with other social networks’ conditions either.
What are Prospect.io’s Features?
Prospect.io says that they can help you build your lists so that you can speed up the process of generating new leads for your brand while ensuring that the leads themselves are high quality.
They also say that they can automate your outbound activity, which includes follow up calls, social media activity, and personal emails so that you can get it all done under one roof.
Prospect.io also talks about how they can help their clients increase productivity and come up with social media campaigns that are going to be efficient and effective.
Once you have come up with these campaigns, they can follow through by analyzing what’s working and what’s not.

What is Prospect.io’s Pricing?
Prospect.io has two main price points, and to be honest, we are disappointed to see that they are charging quite a lot for what we consider to be pretty generic features.
Their first package is $149 a month, and this comes with email finder credits, basic integrations, unlimited prospect lists, an unlimited number of automations, and email tracking, among other features.
Their next price point is a whopping $299 a month, and with this one, they offer email finder credits, up to 1000 a month, and up to five 1500 emails sent every day.
They also say that their integrations with this package are advanced, and they promise priority support to these clients.
How Did Prospect.io Do in Tests?
We decided to put Prospect.io to the test to see if they are really something that you want to be working with for your LinkedIn growth.
Of course, it was difficult for us to integrate them fully with our profile considering that they go against LinkedIn’s terms and conditions, but what little engagement we did get from them wasn’t all that great.
They were also really difficult to get in touch with, and in our opinion, made our LinkedIn profile looked inauthentic and spammy.
What About Their Team?
The only thing left for us to do at this point is to work out whether Prospect.io has enough information about their team on their website or not.
Being able to talk to potential clients about the people who have developed and created their features is a great way to maintain a good level of accountability and ensures that you win over potential clients’ trust from the beginning.
Of course, we couldn’t see anything really like this on their website, which means that they aren’t prepared to be honest about basic things like who is on their team.
We consider this to be a pretty significant red flag.
Prospect.io User Reviews
One of the biggest reasons why we can’t get on board with Prospect.io is because they aren’t approved by LinkedIn to use for your connections and lead generation.
The thing about LinkedIn is that they have a very strict set of rules surrounding their API, which means that if you are a company that doesn’t fall within these guidelines, they will easily be able to detect you, and they will end up banning you.
If you align yourself with a company like this, then you have a really good chance of having your profile suspended or banned.
The bottom line with a company like Prospect.io is that they simply haven’t put enough time and effort into being safe enough and reliable enough for their clients to use with their LinkedIn growth.
This is why we suggest that you look elsewhere for help getting more prospects on your LinkedIn profile so that you could set it up for success in the future.
