Postable Review 2024 – Will It Get You Banned?

Postable Review

Postable Review 2024

If you’ve struggled for a little while to get the right people looking at your Instagram profile and its content, you’re certainly not alone.

Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms that exist on the internet today, and it’s not getting any smaller.

This means that you now have a huge amount of people to compete with and as you attempt to make your content stand out, you’re going to run into more roadblocks than ever.

With this in mind, do we think that this is a good enough reason to give up on your Instagram dreams? No way.

With this in mind, however, we also recommend that you be wary when you look around and consider different companies to help you with your Instagram engagement. Let’s take a look at Postable and consider whether they’re a legitimate choice or not.

What is Postable?

Postable considers themselves to be the type of company that can help you with your Instagram engagement so that you can focus on other parts of your brand. As well as being a possible Instagram bot, they also advertise themselves as a scheduler, which means that they can take your content for you and post it when you want them to, so you don’t have to take the time out of your day to do so yourself.

This is one feature that we’re pretty on board with, we’re just a little disappointed at the possibility of them also being a generic Instagram bot. There’s only one way to find out, though. Let’s take a look at their features and decide whether they’re just another run of the mill company or not.

What Are Postable’s Main Features?

Because Postable is the kind of company to take over your engagement, their features are naturally going to reflect this – except for their scheduling features. Let’s look at what they’ve got to offer:

  • Content scheduler
  • Story builder
  • Location tagging
  • Album/Photo/Video scheduling
  • Automation of engagement, including direct messaging, following, liking, commenting, re-posting and unfollowing

Whether Postable offers services that are going to be suitable for your Instagram or not, they’re not available free of charge. Let’s take a look at their different price points:

Is Postable Safe?

Ensuring that both you and your information online is safe these days is more important than ever. This is why we need to test Postable to make sure that they aren’t going to get in the way of this:

Positives:

  • Secure Site: we’re pleased to see that Postable has secured their website with https. This is an important security measure for two reasons. The first is that it keeps its clients’ information safely stored within the database and protects it from hackers. Secondly, it helps them receive a better rank on Google. Websites that don’t include this security feature won’t get ranked at all so anybody will be able to find them.
  • Visible Pricing: as we’ve laid out above, Postable do have their price points available to look at before you sign up for any of them. This is more important than you may realize because it means that they can’t hit you with hidden costs further down the track. What you see is what you get, and we’re pretty blown away by how cheap all of their prices actually are. At this point, it may be worth remembering that there’s a difference between cheap and affordable.
  • FAQ and Help Page: like many of these companies, Postable has included some FAQs so that you can get to know them better before you use them – but they can’t be found on a separate webpage. In fact, they’ve just included a brief list at the bottom of their homepage, which we consider to be lazy. We like it when companies put in the time and effort to make an entirely new page for their FAQ’s.

Negatives:

  • 24/7 Customer Support: we just talked about how Postable includes their FAQs at the bottom of their homepage, and we’re now even less impressed with their effort at customer service because they don’t seem to have 24/7 assistance that you can access whenever you need it. This may be the most expensive investment for a company like this, but it’s also one of the most important. Without this feature, customers won’t be able to connect when something goes wrong.
  • Email and phone form: this feature is of hidden importance – while it may not initially seem so important, it is when you want to reach out to your existing customers to keep them in the loop, and you don’t have their contact details filed safely away. Without this, you can’t connect with your customers and build a long term relationship with them.
  • Verified Payment System: this is perhaps the most inherent security measure that companies like this need to implement – and we can’t find any signs of it on Postable. Without this, customers can’t safely expect to be able to share sensitive information like their credit card number. In fact, we don’t recommend sharing it at all on this basis.
  • Real Reviews: we couldn’t find any real reviews on Postable’s website.

Final Thoughts

Postable appears to be a hip, modern company with their eggs scattered across two baskets, which we can appreciate. They’ve got one foot in the engagement industry and the other in the scheduling industry, which is a wise move – but not one that’s going to protect them from being shut down.

While we like their enthusiasm for all things Instagram-related, we have to admit that they’re nothing more than your average Instagram bot. While their scheduling features aren’t going to get them shut down by Instagram, their bot services will – and you don’t want to get caught up in all of that. It’s for this reason that we have to suggest you look elsewhere for your Instagram engagement.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
