Mobile Games With The Most Active Players

Which Mobile Games Have The Most Active Players?

Picture this; you are chilling on your couch with some reality TV show in the background and your mobile device in your hand. You are thinking about playing some games; however, PlayStation or PC is not what you are after.

So, your only choice is mobile games and the thousands of options available at your fingertips. But there’s more. Fancy something different? Well, you can play mobile roulette on your cell phone, for starters. Then gradually move to some top mobile games such as Call of Duty and Clash of Clans. We’ve looked at the mobile games with the most active players and why they are so attractive.

PUBG Mobile

A classic developed into a successful mobile game. First released in 2018, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is as battle royale as they come. Hailed as an epic masterpiece, you will be gobsmacked at the number of active players this game has.

And we get it; you can call on your friends to help you out in a battle against other virtual players. And each of you can play from a different location. Who would have thought we would ever get here? Well, here we are, gaming PUBG whenever we get the chance.

Call Of Duty Mobile

Everyone knows how exciting this game is, even if you don’t play it. For some time, gamers were outraged when COD launched on mobile, but it is arguably one of the most popular mobile games ever. And just because it’s mobile does not mean you can’t involve your friends.

This is what adds appeal to this game and why there are so many active players. Up next, we will see a COD and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 in Season 7: New Vision City collab as shared on Twitter by Activision. And this promises to bring even more players to the fold.

League Of Legends: Wild Rift

Multiplayer online battle arena with friends? Sign us right up. Spawned from the original popular video game we first played in the 90s, the mobile version has gained similar acclaim. And if you see the active players, you will understand why.

Some of the notable features we love include weird but cute characters, avatars, and insane graphics. Dubbed a “bold competition,” the 5v5 MOBA combat game is played at such a rapid pace that inexperienced players sometimes find it hard to keep up.

Pokémon GO

First released in 2016, this mobile game comes packed with nostalgia that will make any millennial go crazy. The game features the likes of Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and so much more. You quite literally get to catch ’em all and feel like Ash Ketchum in the process, so what more could you want?

The award-winning Pokémon GO also allows you to fight other trainers and battle in raids, where if you beat the Pokémon, you get the opportunity to catch it and add it to your Pokédex. This standout game also incorporates virtual reality, adding hours, if not days, of extra fun.

This adventure game also comes with different tasks, stories to complete, and championships to be played, such as the current world championship.

Genshin Impact

Contrary to what people might believe, role-playing games work well on your mobile device, and Genshin Impact is no exception. In the game, you play as a traveler looking for their long-lost sibling. On your journey, you pick various tasks and slowly unravel mysteries.

There is a massive open world to explore that includes insane water features and mesmerizing mountains; you will almost think it’s real. There is some element of collaboration since you can invite your friends to battle alongside you or go at it solo.

Genshin Impact is extremely popular, and a lot has to do with the quality of the game. It is the most talked about game on Twitter for 2022 so far and has won awards, yet the game is only two years old, impressive!
Active players: 63 million

Clash Of Clans

This is such a cute game, especially the characters. First launched ten years ago, Clash of Clans is a mobile strategy game. With over 500 million downloads from the Google Play store alone, one can only imagine the number of active players this game has, but more on that in a bit.

The premise is also quite simple: build a village and raise a clan. This clan is going to be the one who defends said village against other online players trying to take it over. It gives off the Rise of Nation vibes here, for sure.

What truly makes this game fun is how you get to battle it out against another clan. But that’s not all. The game features fire-wielding wizards (apparently, this is a sight to see) and barbarians with mustaches.

The game has an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars out of 53 million reviews. Clash of Clans is available on both Android and iOS.
Active players: 1.87 million

Active player statistics depend on a few variables. Firstly, some games have seasons where there is a dramatic uptick in active players. In most battle royale-type games, this will be the case. And secondly, once a game is released, there is a high volume of first-time sign-ups, which instantly keeps the active player statistics relatively high.
