Meet Alfred Review – Is It a Scam? Is It Safe?

Meet Alfred Review – Is Meet Alfred a Scam?

Meet Alfred Review

Meet Alfred is one of those LinkedIn bots that claims to have everything its clients need to do really well. We think that they have a lot of promise.

Having a lot of promise is no guarantee of safety and performance, but it’s something nearly every social media marketing and growth company has. These services all have choices to make and can be helpful tools or harmful.

It’s important to know the differences between the two. While we are focusing on Meet Alfred and its safety and performance-related specifically to LinkedIn, some of this information will also help you be more watchful about this kind of outsourcing across social networks.

That said, we know that it’s pretty hard at this point to grow your LinkedIn without someone on the outside helping you.

It’s no secret that there are many different reasons why you cannot do it on your own anymore, even if you have a long list of credits to your name and a huge network of people that you’ve already made connections with.

The long and short of it is that you can only do so much by yourself, and once you’ve done this, you’re quite limited. That’s where third-party companies come in – but LinkedIn isn’t the biggest fan of most of them.

LinkedIn is probably the most strict social media platform online today. This is probably because it’s considered a social media platform for professionals and they expect reliable and reputable ways to meet potential employees, contractors, and freelancers.

I’m Jonathon Spire. I know that there is a lot to being able to grow your LinkedIn in a successful way so that you can generate more leads for your business.

However, I also know that the LinkedIn growth industry is vast and full of companies that might just take advantage of you.

How do you know the difference between a legit company and a scam? You don’t – unless you read reviews like the one here.

Let’s take a look at Meet Alfred, and see what we think of them.

Meet Alfred Update:

While this service has built a reputation of excellence over time and has a 4.5 star rating out of 5 stars on Trustpilot, there have been some recent developments that concern us.

Some of the newer user reviews lean toward the negative with claims of violations of LinkedIn policies being infringed, potential suspensions, and issues with trying to cancel your Meet Alfred account.

On the other hand, the CEO of Meet Alfred has responded to these negative comments with assurances that Meet Alfred doesn’t operate in the way that these users suggest. He offered sincere apologies and a way to contact him, the CEO, directly to address their issues.

The fact the CEO reached out to rectify these negative user experiences is impressive.

It’s important to note that this specific review page on Trustpilot has a warning notice that states the detection of misuse on the Trustpilot page. They also say they have removed the fake reviews they found.

You can read more about this on Meet Alfred’s Trustpilot review page.

This Meet Alfred Update is not intended to dissuade you from using this service, but rather to inform you of more recent activities.

As a matter of fact, this service has maintained 4.5/5 star reviews, so as far as we know, nothing has changed regarding its safety and security.

Can Meet Alfred Overcome the Downsides of Automation?

Safety

Using automation on LinkedIn is against the terms of use on this platform. LinkedIn interactions are driven by real and authentic interactions, ads, and opportunities.

That said, spammy content would adversely affect LinkedIn’s reputation, and they are not okay with that.

LinkedIn is programmed to seek out automation and bots. Just like other social media platforms, LinkedIn is also penalizing those who use automation by suspending accounts.

Since LinkedIn is a professional outlet, they are especially dedicated to protecting its professional users from spam and from putting their accounts at risk. You don’t want to lose your credibility.

According to Meet Alfred, this system is capable of using automation that stays under LinkedIn’s radar by keeping its activities within the terms and conditions of the platform.

So, Meet Alfred says it is safe.

How Can You Know a Company Is Safe?

When it comes to social media growth and engagement, you need to know how to recognize whether a company is safe or not.

LinkedIn is especially strict since it’s a professional platform, so you need to know the methods you’re using are safe and protected.

You will not only protect your account from getting suspended, but you will also protect your online reputation.

What are the earmarks that make or break social media marketing and growth companies?

Pricing too low is likely an earmark of a poor-quality service since you do get what you pay for. Pricing that is between the too low and too high mark is a good indicator of a credible service.

Claims or promises that are lofty or too good to be true is an earmark of less reputable services.

Lacking website and payment security options is something you want to steer clear of.

Spambot technology that overuses their automation features and puts your account at risk.

Just be aware of these things and you shouldn’t have problems with risky services.

You should know that Meet Alfred doesn’t engage in any of these earmarks that are considered risky in this industry.

How Did Meet Alfred Do in Tests?

Just like any other company that we look at for your LinkedIn growth, we made sure to put Meet Alfred to the test to see whether they’re completely worth your time or not. We’re pleased to say that when we signed up for their basic service, we got a good experience out of it.

Final Thoughts

Meet Alfred is currently safe to use and should not cause any problems with your LinkedIn account. This service seems to have programming that allows for real comments and direct messages instead of canned responses that are delivered by most other automation services.

Though we feel comfortable recommending Meet Alfred for LinkedIn, Twitter, and email, we still advise caution since automation is still against LinkedIn’s and Twitter’s terms of service. The risk may be minimal with Meet Alfred, as algorithms change, the risk could increase unless this service keeps up with the changes.

We cannot reiterate this enough: The one thing we always recommend is to do your own research before you decide to use any form of automation on your LinkedIn or Twitter accounts. Your ultimate goal is to protect your account.

Protecting your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts helps you to maintain and grow your reputation. Anything else less will potentially ruin your reputation and credibility, not only on these platforms, but online.

Please take precautions and learn everything you can about LinkedIn and/or Twitter automation services to be an informed consumer that makes wise decisions.

  1. Meet Alfred does not work. Worst of all they will not refund your money. This company is a scam……I spent countless hours working with their technical department using three different computers and it will not work. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY

  2. Do NOT trust MeetAlfred.com with Your Linkedin Logins or Credit Card Details…

This company is NOT to be trusted. Their system breaches the majority of Linkedin’s terms, and what they don’t tell you is that using it WILL result in your Linkedin account being Suspended and Permantently Banned. At which point, they don’t actually care, because they’ve taken your money – but worse than that will continue to auto-renew future payments even though you are no longer using the software.

You will be passed to Katrina, Rhea and Rica (not even sure these are real accounts) who will reply with a stock response as to why they continue to take payments even after the service as stopped. And non of them will care about ruining your account or charging your card for services they know aren’t being provided.

If anyone would like to speak to me directly about my experience feel free to get in touch – I’d hate to see anyone else suffer at the hands of this company.

If you google it, you’ll see many other reviews with similar feedback – it’s simply not worth losing your account or money. Avoid this company at all costs.

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
