Media Whale Review 2023
This review was supposed to be for Social Package, known for being a Black Hat service that delivered fake followers and likes to social media accounts, but that site no longer exists. This service and website have been replaced by Media Whale, which I was directed to when I clicked on a link from another review site about Social Package.
I am not a suspicious person by nature, but as a reviewer, I watch for signs, language, and anything that points to fake followers, bots, and other such social media marketing services online. These services raise my suspicion radar.
Let’s find out if Media Whale holds up to my suspicious scrutiny and if they are safe for your Instagram account.
What is Media Whale?
Media Whale claims to be the number one website for buying top-quality followers and likes. It says so right on their website, so it must be true, right?
Firstly, how can they be number one anything since their website is at most only 7 months old, according to the copyright information at the bottom of the page. While it’s not impossible, it is highly improbable in this instance.
Media Whale has a presence on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but no reviews to speak of on any online site that I found. However, when I clicked on a posted link (January 2017) from their Facebook page, it directed me to the correct website, but the page from the link doesn’t exist. It seems this social media marketing agency has changed course since then.
It’s a challenge to review a service when there is little to no information to be found online, but here is what I see when I look around the website.

Basically, this service sells followers, likes, video views, and auto likes for Instagram and claims to grow other social media accounts including, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Facebook.

Is Media Whale Safe?
All digital marketing agencies have their pros and cons. Media Whale is no different.

- Support page with hours of operation and form fill contact information
- Secure verified payment gateways
Cons
- The website and service are too new to find information about them
- Instant delivery of follower, likes, or views points to a potential Instagram Bot
- You are required to enter your Instagram username to get to the payment portal
- No email or phone number available
- No onsite reviews or testimonials
With so little information accessible at this time, I wouldn’t recommend this service. I cannot honestly confirm their security and safety protocols. Perhaps in another review, after they grow is in order.
Final Thoughts
Since this website is somewhat associated with Social Package, a company that had a poor reputation, I would steer clear until we can find out more about Media Whale.
