FollowLiker Review 2024

FollowLiker knows a thing or two about growing their clients Instagram accounts – or so they say. We’re here to uncover the truth about what’s really going on behind the scenes.

The urgency of getting into a rush for Instagram followers can be a positive or negative for your brand and your account.

While you can build your brand at a normal rate by engaging across social media, especially via Instagram with great images, that desire for instant gratification (I want it now!) remains due to the advances in technology and the ease of growing an online network.

Individuals, businesses, and blog and website owners alike desire the benefits of quickly growing their Instagram accounts.

One method for growing Instagram is automation technology, also known as botting, which can work really well, but may also be problematic.

The industry is full of companies that are legit, and can actually help you with your Instagram growth that don’t go anywhere near bots – but then there are those that are more than willing to take this shortcut as well.

We love the idea of it being easy to distinguish between the two, but unfortunately this is easier said than done.

I’m Jonathon Spire, and I have spent the past several years learning more and more about this industry.

This is because I know that for every legit company out there, there is a scam as well, and if you haven’t spent as much time researching them as I have, then you’ll struggle to know the difference.

Hopefully by reading reviews like the one below, you can come closer to understanding what to look out for.

On the review block today, we are looking at FollowLiker and whether it’s a safe way to grow your Instagram presence.

Important Update:

We have seen the poor results and the harm done from using bots and some automation on social media. These services are no longer effective on Instagram, or any other social media sites. This is just for your information.

What is FollowLiker?

FollowLiker Review - logo

FollowLiker is automation software designed for social media engagement on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest. We are focusing on its safety for Instagram, but technically, if it’s unsafe for one, it’s unsafe for all.

It’s a third-party program you download to your computer that you can configure for multiple accounts and manage your Instagram engagement from a dashboard.

It runs 24 hours per day. They claim it is user-friendly and is designed to be simple to setup.

How Do Bots Work?

No matter what you have been told about this service, it’s automation is bot-generated. It’s been known to get Instagram accounts closed. Why does that happen?

Bots, short for robots, is technology designed to mimic human interactions. For social media, this can include engagement such as liking, commenting, viewing, direct messaging, sharing, following, unfollowing, etc.

The biggest problem with this form of automation is that it’s often random and some of it can look less than real or authentic. People are smart enough to see the difference between real and bot interactions.

Some bots can produce spam, which is obvious and will be detected by IG’s algorithm. Others may even be malicious and distribute malware or worse.

FollowLiker’s Main Features

The features of this program allow you to manage and automate these activities on your social media.

  • Operate Multiple Accounts

The activities you can automate are chosen according to the social media platform you want to work with and what you want to do on said platform. This is a sample of the tasks you can automate from FollowLiker according to their website.

With that said, we want to cover the problems with automating some of these features.

Automated Features Problems

There are some issues that arise from most of these features offered by FollowLiker.

  • Likes and Views: The least harmful bot/automated activities include likes and views engagements. While these pose less of a risk to your Instagram account, this automation may still create a problem with your IG account.
  • Follow and Unfollow: Following and unfollowing can only look natural when it is natural. It simply looks different when real people follow and unfollow than when a bot does it. It’s difficult to explain, but with bots, the randomness appears less real. It can create the appearance that your follow count has grown too much and will throw off your ratio, which will raise red flags on Instagram.
  • Comment and Direct Messages: Since commenting and direct messaging are so similar in nature we will cover them together. Let’s just say that real people can tell the difference between a real comment or DM and an auto-generated/bot-generated comment or DM. The issue with this is that it will make you look less credible and will affect your Instagram reputation. If you have followers on other platforms, it will affect them as well.

This just covers issues with Instagram. Consider the other social media platforms that FollowLiker caters to and apply the same principles to that automation.

The basic end result is the same as with Instagram. Tweets, retweets, Pins, Repin, etc.

That said, we cannot say there isn’t ANY potential in scheduling your posts. However, there are plenty of other and more reputable services for that.

Why Doesn’t Automation Work?

Maybe a few years ago this kind of automation had some limited benefits on Instagram. However, since that time, Instagram has shut that activity down. If you’ll remember, Instagress and Mass Planner were shut down for suspicious activities.

These bots gave Instagram what it needed to protect the platform and its users from future suspicious automation. It’s pretty much set to seek and destroy that activity.

Instagram also became very aware of fake followers, so they flag bots, fake, or inactive profiles. All this is for your protection, but that doesn’t mean it won’t create a challenge for your social media marketing and growth.

Once the fake follower and bot revolution came to its end (or almost), automation and bot companies started working on more effective ways to bypass the algorithm. However, that also didn’t last for long.

After bots and automation began to fail on Instagram, companies that still provided these services started becoming vague about their services on their websites. Basically, they simply stopped telling people how they work.

In this industry, transparency is everything. Without that, we cannot know which companies are safe and which ones aren’t.

Transparency is one of the metrics we use when we are recommending social media marketing services. You can use this as a good rule as well.

But, as with all things, there is always a way.

There are alternatives to FollowLiker that we have provided in this review. You will find them near the end of the review.

Pros and Cons

Is FollowLiker Safe? Is FollowLiker a Scam?

FollowLiker has no qualms with openly admitting they are an Instagram bot right on their website. They don’t use flowery language to cover up what they are.

While their honesty is refreshing, this is still a red flag that requires your attention because this is the kind of technology that raises your risk of being banned from Instagram.

All of the third-party reviews I have read agree with my assessment.

In good conscience, I can only concur with these reviews due to the high-risk factor of ‘getting caught’ using this bot.

Things are never going to end well with a bot, as much as you would like them to. Another thing that doesn’t really sit that well with us is that they don’t have any positive onsite reviews about their features.

If FollowLiker were more established and had a good reputation under their belt, then it would be easier to find these.

Lastly, we don’t like the idea that you can’t get in touch with them easily if something goes wrong. This means that you’re going to get pretty frustrated at times, and might not end up getting the help that you need at all.

FollowLiker Review Conclusion

There are people using this Instagram automation bot to grow their presence on the social media platform, but this reviewer cannot recommend it. I personally wouldn’t take the risk, but everyone must make their own choices.

Besides the fact that this is a bot and puts your Instagram (and other social media accounts) at risk, we found some third-party reviews and information you need to know before deciding if FollowLiker is something you want to use.

Trustpilot reviews have given this site a 1.4 out of 5 stars, with a majority of the user reviews being very negative. When reading these reviews, we could feel the disappointment in some of the reviewers’ words.

Scamadviser rates the site as “might be safe” with a high trust rating, but that is based primarily on the length of time the website has existed, the number of sites linked to it, traffic ranking, and its valid SSL certificate.

On the flip side of this rating, Scamadviser shows this as a site that matches the characteristics of scam sites, the discovery of several negative reviews, and the fact that there are several low-rated sites on the same server.

While we don’t primarily base our recommendations on the rankings of sites through Trustpilot or Scamadviser, these sites often confirm our suspicions. That’s why we sometimes include these ratings/reviews.

There is no reason to use this service with so many other more reputable solutions available to you.

Ultimately, it’s up to you how you engage on Instagram and other social media platforms.

We are not here to tell you how to do that.

We are here to inform you about the various options and whether or not they are safe for you.

It’s up to you to do your own research before deciding what method of growth and engagement you want to partake in for your Instagram.

  1. Followliker revoked my license without refunding me, basically stealing from me. My bank forced the money back but never again!

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
