Famoid Review 2024

Virtually every Instagram user wants to be famous. People want their name or brand out there for all to see.

Instagram is a great social media platform for getting attention, but it takes time and effort from you to get there.

Buying followers has become the trendy thing to do for saving time and effort over manually following, liking, commenting, and otherwise engaging on Instagram.

The problem is that not all companies that sell followers are reputable, reliable, or safe for your Instagram account.

User and professional reviews like this one regarding Famoid are designed to help you determine the risk and effectiveness of companies that claim to help grow your Instagram.

Let’s dig into this review of Famoid.

Famoid Review

Famoid claims to offer excellent social media services that help you become famous online.

However, while they claim to offer an organic growth service, we think based on our review of them that they are nothing more than a fake follower buying service – which is only going to increase the risk of getting shut down by various social media companies.

They offer services across social media networks including, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

For this review, we are focusing on the Instagram services of Famoid.

Famoid’s Main Features

Famoid’s website says it’s not that difficult to gain popularity on social media and that their services are supposed to help you get there faster – which we don’t agree with.

Their features include:

  • Payment Methods via PayPal & SafeCharge
  • Delivery of Engagement. This is supposed to be instant, but we don’t think that they’re living up to the hype.
  • 24/7 Active Support. Another thing that they might not actually follow through on – it’s difficult for companies to actually offer this.
  • Privacy & Safety – supposedly. If they’re offering fake followers like we think they are, then they’re not legit and can’t keep you safe.
  • Complete Social Media Experience
  • The passion of High-Standard Services. Again, they only claim to be passionate about their clients, but we ultimately think that they are selling fake engagement, so are only passionate about making money.

Famoid says that they guarantee high-quality likes and views and are a great investment for your engagement.

We disagree completely.

We have to point out here that if Famoid was legit, they would offer prices that were reasonable, not expensive.

We think that these guys are charging way too much for what they’re offering, especially considering they only deliver fake followers to your accounts.

This is definitely a complete waste of your money.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • This website is similar to those that partake in fraudulent and fake selling – ScamAdvisor

Is Famoid Safe? Is Famoid a Scam?

Is Famoid safe?

Famoid may not be our cup of tea at all at this point, but let’s take a look at their pros and cons anyway before making a call on their safety and usefulness.

Some aspects of this website and services are safe, but I am skeptical of all their claims.

We also don’t like that Famoid doesn’t issue refunds on their services – but to be honest we’re not all that surprised.

Considering they sell fake engagement, the last thing they need is to be found out, and to have to give you your money back.

This way, they cover their asses, and don’t have to answer for their less than average features.

Quality of Famoid Followers

We’re disappointed to say that there is nothing legit about Famoid’s followers.

While they might look like they offer their clients real Instagram followers, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

All of the followers that they send out to their clients are fake, and aren’t going to be able to help them grow their Instagram reputation.

This means that they’re going to sit on your profile and not make a difference at all, and could end up hurting your reputation to the point of no return.

Their No Retention Policy

Another thing that’s a bit concerning to us is that they have a no retention policy.

This means that they don’t guarantee the retention of the engagement they delivery – which again comes as no surprise to use while we review them.

When a company can’t guarantee the retention of their engagement, this means that they are selling low quality, fake engagement.

If they offered high quality followers, then they could guarantee that they would stick to your account and interact with your content.

The Difference Between a Growth Service and Buying Your Engagement

Famoid highlights an important feature that is commonly found in this industry, and that is the difference between buying a growth service for your Instagram and buying your engagement.

As Famoid is one, they’re a good example of what to avoid.

When you buy a growth service for your Instagram, which isn’t what Famoid appears to be, you’re paying a company to automate your engagement for you through their sophisticated software.

They put it on autopilot so that you can focus on other, more important parts of your business.

While this is a great way to go about increasing your engagement rates, there are a few things that you have to be wary of when signing up for a growth service.

The biggest one is making sure companies like Famoid are falling within Instagram’s strict terms and conditions. We don’t even think that they can do this.

This means only interacting with people who would genuinely be interested in your niche and making sure that the speed they’re engaging at is not too high.

If Famoid does too much engaging for you at any given time, Instagram will be alerted and possibly suspend or ban your account.

The best type of growth services are those that can pace themselves and have a personal account manager that’s monitoring all of your activity, so you don’t come across as spammy to other people, as well as Instagram.

If you want to buy your engagement, this is going to make your account look great almost immediately – but it’s not going to sustain it long-term.

This is because you’ll get a delivery of followers and likes overnight, but they’re not going to be real and organic.

This means they may last for a week or so before dropping off again, and can even potentially make your profile look worse than it did before you bought this kind of engagement.

Why Customer Service is Important

Companies like Famoid don’t do themselves a big favor by avoiding the help of a customer support team.

It’s essential if you’re running a growth service to make sure you’ve got a support team that clients can talk to if something goes wrong.

Companies like Famoid are going to come across glitches and hiccups in their system, which is why you need someone who can help when things don’t go the way they’re supposed to.

Famoid doesn’t have 24/7 customer support, not every company out there does, so make sure that you find an alternative that does.

We always recommend that you go for a company who can offer you around-the-clock care, because you’re going to end up with technical issues at some point, even if it’s a high quality service.

Remember, good quality companies that aren’t a scam are going to make sure that they can help you whenever, wherever.

Why Do They Need My Password?

Interestingly, Famoid doesn’t actually need your password to do their thing, and while you may think this is a good thing, it’s actually not.

When a company needs your password to implement their services, it means that they’re actually going to be working from within your Instagram and pretending to be you when they execute their engagement strategy.

You need this to pull off successful engagement growth, and why it may be risky sharing your password, it’s one indication that the company is doing good.

Famoid doesn’t need it, which does make us question the legitimacy of their services.

Famoid User Reviews

Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much digging to find a large number of negative user reviews.

These are taken from Famoid’s TrustPilot page:

Review Conclusion

While I believe Famoid has some things about their website that are okay, all of their services may include a technology known to get people banned from Instagram.

Some buzzwords that make me think they are using such technology include “instant delivery”, “special software”, and “automatic”.

Even though they claim to deliver naturally, Instagram’s software is still on the lookout for any activity that is out of the ordinary, and who knows when it could happen even to the most careful of companies.

I won’t say to try or not to try their services, but I will say there are enough cons to make me wait to see what happens to them.

Remember, these guys aren’t the organic growth service that they claim to be, or that you might think they are – they are just trying to sell their clients fake followers.

Obviously, as we explained above, the last thing you want is to have fake followers on your profile.

This is only going to damage your reputation, and you could end up losing more followers than you had to begin with.

I’d definitely purchase elsewhere.

  1. Famoids followers do not stick. Nearly 100% of the followers they add get dropped from your account within a week or 2 after getting an upload. They have drop protection but all that means I you will get a temporary reload until the drop protection period ends. It’s a waste of time an embarrassming. People notice when you gain a few thousand followers and they all disappear overnight. Stay away from Famoid for sure.

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
