When it comes to getting your tracks noticed on SoundCloud, there are some ways that are better than doing it than others.

Like all social media, SoundCloud will boost your content to other users the more plays you have.

With this in mind, it can be easy to fall into the trap of buying dodgy SoundCloud plays and getting scammed, especially when our numbers are looking low.

If you are thinking of buying some, read our piece first before you part with your hard-earned cash.

Cheaper Isn’t Always Best

SoundCloud Plays Scam - Cheaper

You’ve probably come across the phrase, buy cheap, buy twice? Well, this is the same for SoundCloud plays.

You need to make sure that you are buying them from a genuine provider that has a decent reputation.

A lot of the cheaper services that you find, aren’t reputable and you may find that you part with your money only to not have what you paid for delivered.

Have a look at the prices that multiple providers are charging.

Some may also offer additional services, but it is a good way to benchmark. If it looks as though a provider is selling a lot of goods for not a lot, it is best to avoid these.

Customer Service

Customer Service

We’re so used to getting exactly what we paid for, delivered quickly, but sometimes things can go wrong.

Before you settle on your service, have a look at the company’s customer service options.

You want to make sure that there is a point of contact that you can reach out to if something does go awry.

Be wary of any service that doesn’t have these details, as if you make a purchase and you don’t receive it, you won’t have anyone to reach out to.

Not all company’s have their customer service in house either.

A lot of these providers will use freelancers that are dotted around globally.

This isn’t a bad thing at all, as it means that you should always be able to get hold of someone, regardless of what time you reach out.

If you are unsure, reach out to their customer service team before you make the purchase and see how long they take to respond, if at all.

Try Before You Buy

Try Before You Buy

Thankfully, a lot of the SoundCloud play providers will be able to sell you a few plays for very little money.

If you aren’t sure how things will work out with the provider you have chosen, then make a small order.

A small order won’t make a huge difference in the wider scheme of things and the payout will be very low in comparision to a big order.

Make sure that you are putting these plays onto your account and keep the spend under $10.

This way you can be sure that the service you want to invest your money in is going to be worth it. If you can live without $10, then we highly recommend that you test first.

However, you don’t want to be doing this across a wealth of providers, so make a short list and then chose your favourite.

Before you part with your money though, be sure that there are contact details, so you can ask for a refund if the transaction doesn’t work out as planned.

Do Your Research!

Research

Research never does us any harm.

We wouldn’t book at hotel without researching and looking at reviews, so why would we treat SoundCloud plays any different.

The chances of you stumbling on a fresh service that has had no customers as of yet is rare.

A quick engine search will most probably tell you everything you need to know. You may find good reviews and bad reviews, of which you can then make an informed judgement on.

The ones to avoid however are the services with no reviews.

These are the ones that haven’t had any custom yet or haven’t been reviewed.

They may well be a sound organisation that provides a good service, but do you want to be the first one to find out that they aren’t?

Trust Your Judgement

Judgement

Have you ever come to a landing page and thought no?

That instinct is something that you can carry through to choosing your provider.

If you get to a landing page and think this is too good to be true, or something feels off, then chances are you are probably right.

You are spending money and investing in yourself, so you don’t want to be scammed out of it.

If you are in the situation where something doesn’t feel quite right, just leave it be and continue searching.

Scams are Everywhere

Sadly, buying SoundCloud plays isn’t as easy as it should be.

It’s full of scams.

There are an array of shady and dodgy companies online that are waiting to take people’s hard earned cash and not provide a service in return.

Before you commit to placing an order, do some due diligence first.

Have a look around google and see if anyone else has come across the service, contact their customer service and think about how much their prices are.

Taking into consideration these factors vastly reduce the chances of you being scammed and losing money.

You will also end up with a reliable service that will help you boost your music and increase your reach, so it is worth taking the time to find a decent service.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
