Boostfy Alternatives 2022 (HELP it’s been shutdown!)

Boostfy Alternatives

In accordance with Instagram’s request, we’re shutting Boostfy down.

This is the message that greeted Boostfy’s customers this morning.

It was shortly followed by an article from their founder on Medium.

This might come as a shock to many – but it’s nothing new. These types of services are regularly shut down by Instagram. In April 2018, Instagress was closed and masses of people went looking for an alternative – and since then, many services have followed suit and been forced to close on a regular basis.

Most people just jump from one service to another. The key is to find an effective replacement that isn’t risky.

Easier said than done.

Our (Former) Boostfy Review

The decision to use social media to boost your business brand is a no-brainer. It’s how to get Instagram followers and likes that give your brand credibility and attention that’s bothersome.

Should you outsource to real people for Instagram engagement, or use an automation bot to get the job done?

If you’re considering using Boostfy, here are some things you should know about first.

What is Boostfy?

Boostfy is your typical Instagram bot that offers the conventional features you expect from this technology.

They offer the basic features for free, but you will pay for anything beyond that. The upgrade offers a 7-day free trial without using your credit card if you want to try out their advanced features.

Their website states that their engagement of likes and followers is real, using real automation bot methods to get the job done.

  • Get Noticed by Them
  • Get Followers and Likes

That’s it.

The price points are also very basic with the Free Trial, Monthly Subscription, and Lifetime Access options.

The pricing isn’t over the top expensive, but what do you really get when you buy in?

Is Boostfy Safe?

This reviewer has to say that Boostfy isn’t safe to use and should be avoided. User reviews across the web are not positive for this service. They are difficult to find, but you can read reviews here and here. These are reputable sources for this industry.

The reason for this reviewer’s opinion:

The pros include:

  • A secure Https website
  • Easy to find pricing

It’s crucial to have a secure site and important to know how much you’re paying for services.

The cons are another story.

  • The website has no substantial FAQ page and no help page. When a website is providing a service, there should be help available in case you have problems or questions.
  • Since there is a lack of FAQ and help on the website, it’s not like to have a good 24/7 customer support system in place. They have a contact link with an email, but it’s not easy to contact them in general. Plus, there is no email form.
  • Boostfy has no reviews on the website, which is essential today. This isn’t a good thing.
  • The site provides no verified payment gateways. This is a red flag for this website. Since Boostfy has no authenticated payment method, this reviewer wouldn’t give up my payment information to them for any services.

Jon Says

Boostfy claims to provide some of their basic services for free, but it’s a free trial and you must upgrade to use their services afterwards.

Due to the data gleaned from some research, this Instagram bot, unfortunately, falls into the category of data-mining.

It’s not worth the risk in the views of this reviewer.

If you have already invested in Boostfy and want to cancel, start by trying their customer service first. If you don’t get a reasonable response, cancel your subscription on PayPal if possible.

Otherwise, you will need to file a dispute with your credit card company or PayPal and possibly escalate it to get the refund and cancellation.

Boostfy Coupon

I have tried to contact Boostfy for an exclusive coupon or discount code but has been unsuccessful so far. Have you found a working coupon? If you have, please share it below.

  1. I canceled my services with them in June, hadn’t had any charges, saw that they went out of business and then suddenly they started charging my account on August 4th for random charges with receipts that went back to March and I have all the past receipts proving I already had been charged for those dates. Tried contacting them, sent 4 emails and never heard back. Cannot even access my old account because it says it is not active anymore but they are using my card information. They certainly scammed me.

I blog about a range of tech topics.

For the last 7 years I have been a social media marketing specialist and business growth consultant, so I write about those the most.

Full transparency: I do review a lot of services and I try to do it as objectively as possible; I give honest feedback and only promote services I believe truly work (for which I may or may not receive a commission) – if you are a service owner and you think I have made a mistake then please let me know in the comments section.
