Archie was shut down by Instagram some time ago, but this service just doesn’t want to slink into the night. Apparently, in recent months, this service is somehow back and running after being off the market for over a year. Somehow, they got past the legal issues and are taking new clients again.
That being said, let’s dig a bit to see what’s really happening on Archie.co. The following will cover the pros, cons, risks, and other pertinent information you need before you give this service a shot, or another chance if you used it before.

Archie.co claims to grow your social impact. They claim to be trusted by Uber, Shopify, and the United Nations Foundation. I would surely be concerned about these claims under the current circumstances of the Instagram marketing industry.

If I go by the fact that this very entity was shut down by Instagram, it’s not safe. It’s a huge risk. They were already targeted once by Instagram, so it stands to reason that Instagram will be on the lookout for infractions. I wouldn’t touch this one and add that kind of risk to my Instagram account.

- Archie is a bot that already got people banned from Instagram and was shut down by the social media site.

- They are making some interesting claims related to who they work with on the website.
Final Thoughts
There are so many cons related to Archie.co, that I have trouble imagining what is really happening with this website. Either this site has been hacked and someone is trying to steal information until they get caught, or Archie worked out their problems and started up legally again.
I’m not convinced that they bypassed the legalities of their former offenses or the shutdown. I can’t honestly recommend this service to you. I believe this to be a major risk to your Instagram account. Let’s keep an eye out and see what happens here.
