The way Haro works is that it sends out requests from journalists, and you respond with your pitch. If you go all the way and get picked by a journalist, there is a high chance that they will mention your Instagram in their report.
These journalists range from writing for small fry publishing companies to monopolies like Forbes. If you land a good one, your Instagram will be exposed to hundreds of thousands of readers who are highly likely to check out your Instagram.
Giving things away on Instagram isn’t new, but it is useful and if you haven’t tried it already, you should. It helps you reach a broader audience, gain a more significant following, and get people to respond to specific call-to-actions on your Instagram or landing page – like an email subscription.
