Quora is similar to Reddit in that people are looking for answers to problems. The best way to get traffic over to your Instagram is to work out how helpful you can be. If you are helping people directly through answering questions they have, they are more likely to follow you.

Haro stands for Help a Reporter Out, and it’s a platform which connects journalists to people who have something to say about current trends and issues. If you happen to be an expert in the niche that you’re promoting, it’s a good idea to sign up for this connection, in case you come across a journalist who is looking to write a story about your particular level of expertise.
The way Haro works is that it sends out requests from journalists, and you respond with your pitch. If you go all the way and get picked by a journalist, there is a high chance that they will mention your Instagram in their report.
These journalists range from writing for small fry publishing companies to monopolies like Forbes. If you land a good one, your Instagram will be exposed to hundreds of thousands of readers who are highly likely to check out your Instagram.
Giving things away on Instagram isn’t new, but it is useful and if you haven’t tried it already, you should. It helps you reach a broader audience, gain a more significant following, and get people to respond to specific call-to-actions on your Instagram or landing page – like an email subscription.
A valid example of this is tagging. When giving something away, you can ask people to tag three of their friends in the comments below.
This automatically has drawn three other people to be involved in your giveaway and subsequently check out your Instagram.
Instagram marketing doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s all about making all the right moves, and building a positive reputation online in the process.
